Pete - just wanted to say I found your podcast early this year and it opened up my eyes to the real world. Lolbertarians are either completely utopian dreamers or like you say, scum using libertarian ideals as cover.

First glaring steps that come out of this last election cycle is we need to stop the indoctrination of the youth. Start with local school boards and relentlessly squash this shit. Teach kids to think critically and ask questions of those who seek to rule them. Raise a generation of kids who make the ideologues in secondary education sweat, scream, and cry.

It is possible, but it starts at home and in your home town.

The first word out of their mouth when some marxist starts spouting about structural colonial patriarchal hegemony and climate equity for the underserved discriminated against minorities should be "BULLSHIT".

Rand Paul and Thomas Massie won their races handily. You’d think the lolbert guild would take the right lesson from that, but I’m not at all shocked that they didn’t. They’d rather get on their knees for Paul Pelosi than admit that 99% of decent libertarians are Republicans or on the Right. The rest are just leftists who haven’t admitted it to themselves yet.

A lot of people waste time and energy getting all twisted up about namesake. I think a lot of people have hitched their identity way to closely to a name and it's too painful to seem like you're backtracking or abandoning your identity at that point.

Rand and Massie and their brand of Republicanism are absolutely the way forward on the national stage

I’m so happy you posted this thread here because I’m still suspended on Twitter and I have some thoughts.

https://youtu.be/WqUb5QDpGs8 Pete’s chapter by chapter breakdown of The Populist Delusion by Neema Parvini aka AcademicAgent was incredibly useful for this exact reason. It’s incredibly short and obliterates several basic tenets of Libertarian philosophy because it’s a description of how power within political systems ACTUALLY amalgamates and it’s always around a small tightly organized group of elites that effect any level of political change.

Harnessing that knowledge at the local and county levels by making alliances with local pillars of the community will allow dissidents to effectively flush out Marxists from school boards and place people who are anti-Regime in offices like sheriff, county commissioners, etc.

Nationally the Rand Paul, Thomas Massie routes are easily by far the most effective and identifying young candidates who can break the Overton Window those primaries will also be key.

The Libertarian brain trust residing and permanently operating outside any sphere of influence is one major reason the Republican Party has been allowed to veer so hard to the left. Charlie Kirk gets millions of views. The tenth amendment center does not. Thousands of people hear Steve Cortes daily talking about economics, quite poorly at times. They’ve no idea who Tom Woods is. Dave Smith could be the political Joe Rogan if he was openly Republican.

Even Tho hangs on to ideological details and labels too much imo. I can pseudo-prove it with content uptake numbers via the Trumpanzee outreach accounts I operate on Gettr and Truth. If the article or the host says Libertarian, it’s a skunk. However, core liberty ideas veiled in conservatism are some of the most popular content I share. It’s amazing really. If you don’t monitor their accounts/livestreams, you’d be surprised at how much Steve Bannon and company redpill normies on the Fed, all week long, every week. Millions of people. The fucking Rectenwald interview on Warroom was everywhere on Gettr for weeks. They ate it up so much I wrote a substack on it.

Libertarians are just jerking off in the same obscure corner they were in 1970whatever. They’ve traded down from 0.0001 gms of political power, to -0.25. They are now intellectually prepared to berate the cop as he slaps the cuffs on them.

They just proved my point again in Arizona. What would’ve been coming from the lips of Masters throughout the campaign if the LP wasn’t the LP, but an Arizona lobbyist group carrying sway over enough voters to make you think twice before shitting in their mouths? There is nothing standing in the way of a Mises Caucus style takeover of GOP county affiliates. They’re weak and vulnerable AF. The Massie/Paul numbers do not lie. The real opportunity for a Ron Paul revolution 2.0 is in the MAGAsphere. More people hear the message about the Fed and monetary policy, limited government, revising the tax code, ending foreign wars, etc in one week than they ever will from the LP. Sorry but Dave can’t get on Rogan enough to match that exposure.

These MAGA guys getting perp walked on TV did not appear to sway anyone at all. Quite the opposite. It created big time martyrs energy. That alone tells a tale. That show was for Boomercons and it had the opposite effect. I’d bet my 401k there are more men willing to take on the state in a real way, listening to MAGA personalities like Bannon daily, then the entire historical membership of LP National x10. If there were ever a chance at influencing a major political institution, this populist/MAGA/anti-institution movement is it. They are fucking scared or the Left wouldn’t be sending their weasel Schumer to bump dicks with Mitch McConnell to address “the MAGA element in the Senate.” They wouldn’t need to other the “semi-fascists” and so on. Do they me wrong the movement is full of cringe, but that’s where we should come in. (You guys, not me) Their intellectual horsepower is jerking off in the corner.
