It was the same in Ukraine. I lived there for a couple of years. At least half of the people pined for the good ole days of the USSR. They'd rather have 1 potato guaranteed than have to work for a bag of potatoes. They'd rather wait in line all day, than pay one penny for faster health care.

I like how they portrayed that town on Tatooine. The empire left and warlords took over. So the people fought back on their own and pushed the warlords out and they ended up building an agorist/libertarian society. Then, they made a deal with a foe, to fight a common enemy.

Yes. I don't talk much about it because a lot of painful shit happened there but I was back and forth for a few years.
