In the 19th Century Harvard and Yale required that students already know Greek and Latin to even be admitted as freshmen. Those requirements are long gone. Today, most people only know a single Greek vocabulary word: "phobia". What is the Greek word for "disgust"? One can't express subtle shades of meaning if one doesn't know any words.

Fear is something for which you challenge and channel properly, because it exists in the mind. If you have not already seen or heard of it, there is an intense video series called 'Navy SEALS - BUDS Class 234', filmed just prior to 9/11. Around 120 men entered 'Hell Week' and only 18, or so, completed the training. You are not expelled from it. You quit, and the instructors encourage it. They also say things like: 'Anyone can train a man until he drops. It takes special skill and training to train others beyond what they THINK they can do, because 90% of their limitations (fear) is in their heads'. The training is designed to break through those barriers for men who are up to that challenge. Once they are deprived of sleep for 72 hours and undergo grueling physical and mental challenges, they then are able to become a SEAL. Some of those men went off to fight in Afghanistan, and some did not return.

That said, there is a difference between having a fear of something and someone telling YOU that you have some 'aversion'. A fear is something you admit to, and a 'phobic' is an accusation. I may conclude that someone has a fear of X and ASK that person if they do, as that is the gentlemanly thing to do. Or, I can be a bored, high minded, arrogant prick and hurl some accusation. Those people are not worth my time, because their only objective is to exert power over you. The Navy SEAL trainers are there for worthy men to overcome fear and become very powerful, lethal weapons.

Derpy joke at the expense of the boomercon contingent.

We need to be okay with degenerates calling us “phobes,” or “bigots,” or whatever they resort to next. Arguing these points with the enemy is about as fruitful as teaching a rabid dog not to bite.

I want to be phobic when I grow up.

“PC is itself simply bigotry. In fact that is a more accurate name for it: PC is a euphemism for leftist bigotry. Most leftists are bigots and most bigots are leftists. Bigotry has nothing to do with race. As it happens, most racists are not bigots whereas most anti-racists who make themselves upset about racism are bigots.”’-- David Ramsay Steele

Oxford English Dictionary:

"Bigot: A person who is intolerant towards those holding different opinions"
