Every single day I'm more convinced that self reliance, mutual aid (be it neighbors-meat space- or the traditional mutual aid societies), side hustles, and privacy are foundational to thriving throughout what lies ahead.

It's never been easier to learn skills or find a community (even if they're all online to begin with) than today.

Thanks Pete, for giving voice to so many ideas, you (and 2020) have fully radicalized me into living my life in such a manner that other men are taking to me about how I got here.

Could not someone disagree with another whilst minding his or her own business and not turning each other in?

Cory Doctorow's "Down and Out in the Magic Kingdom" had a similar social score premise, though it was more like crypto in that it was decentralized, and it was tied directly to others' emotional reactions to you.

Ive gotten into a bad habit of sticking my tongue out at displays of stupid mask-wearing especially at kids. Unfortunately, Ive been seeing an even bigger adherence to mask wearing and have noticed its MOST prevalent among the young. Its like maoist china but gayer.

These people are making me sick and I dont know how it will go away. The sheep like it because its a way of being superior when before they werent better at anything. Its no wonder these same people have a problem with supremacy.

What worries me is that maskers think libertarians are terrorists while the libertarians would still fight for the freedoms of the people shutting down businesses or at least treat them humanely. The LP is busy infighting and anarchists dont organize so the collective can just pick them off 1 by 1.

There is reason to be hopeful. When you look around and see that everything is so obviously hopeless, that the government is incompetent/egregiously belligerent/insincerely malfeasant, remember that IT IS SO OBVIOUS...and that theres more than just a strong, devoted remnant who see it too and are working on it.
