In my opinion, the government was priming people for this kind of terrorism by using the most extreme elements of white religious groups (never any other religions, just whites) to get people used to the idea of being summarily executed, if you get crosswise with them. Then, they burn the evidence of the crime down to the ground, right in front of your eyes. Do you know how fucking tired I am of hearing: 'Land of the Free'?

I will never, ever forget what those bastards did. Definitely a before and after moment for me. In a way I think the ham-fisted, keystone cops buffoonery of it all made it somehow worse. Maybe not worse but terrible and insulting at the same time. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I was five when this happened. I’ve been pro this didn’t need to happen ever since I can remember. I can’t say much for my father as a father but he raised me to mistrust authority. I’ll give him that.

I didn’t even remotely understand why Waco was such a big deal until about a year or 2 ago not from this documentary which is excellent btw but from the drama miniseries with Taylor Kitsch and Michael Shannon of which they’re doing the sequel series Aftermath coming out next month.

The Feds straight up burnt those children alive, covered it up, took trophy pics on top of their charred corpses, and still haven’t apologized to this day. Instead they’ve tripled down on trying to de facto abolish 2A.

The entire massacre is a jarring living reminder of why people like Cody Wilson and the Defense Distributed folks all of the 3D Printed Firearms people are heroes for actual Liberty for real people. 3D Printed Guns render all gun control laws moot and DOA.

Feds can go jerk off into the wind.

When I think about the cultural and political scenarios we've lived through thus far, it's astounding. I simply will never get over the fact that we crossed that Rubicon and kept going. The body politic has lost track of any and all societal landmarks. They are unmoored and an increasing number of them think nothing of this madness. They believe this is normal, if they don't outright enjoy it.
