Revisiting Accusations of Being a 'Reactionary'
Recently, I was given back access to the Twitter account I lost in October 2021. It had almost 21K accounts following it, and I am finding many of those followers are STILL ideologically possessed libertarians and anarchists. You can imagine the fun I’ve been having.
I know, I know, I said at the beginning of the year I was going to move away from writing about libertarians, but, as you can imagine, my Twitter posts have been met with great pushback from some of my former followers.
One Tweet that got quite a lot of anarchist/libertarian panties in a bunch this week was this one. (Click on it to see everything that I wrote)
One of the responses that has since disappeared into the ether contained the typical 80 IQ comment from a libertarian/anarchist about how I am a "Reactionary." On January 11 of this year, I wrote about the term "reactionary," but I’m going to come at it from a different direction today.
If I were to explain to someone my thoughts on what is wrong with modern policing and their response was, "Just abolish the police!" Would that be a "reactionary" response?
If I were to tell that same person my thoughts on the Federal Reserve and how it destroys the value of the money supply, and their response was, "Just end the Fed!" Would that be a "reactionary" response?
If I were to convince this turd-brain that government schooling was poisoning the minds of children and initiating them into the destructive Progressive ideology, and their response was, "Just end government schooling!" Would that be a "reactionary" response?
If I were to prove to them that the Federal Government was controlled by a corrupt cabal of psychopaths and fiends who don’t care if they live or die, and their response was, "Just end the government!" Would that be a "reactionary" response?
No one is more reactionary than the ideologically possessed libertarian/anarchist. If your response to a problem involves recommending a "solution" that is impossible and only exists in the fantasyland you’ve constructed in your head, you might be a "reactionary." Just embrace it, retard!
It's very hard to not throw the occasional jab at or troll anarchists on Twitter. They're just so damn sure they have all the answers. I'm in a text thread where we troll one guy who is a ridiculous person. Outside of the thread we all acknowledge its immature behavior as we're all roughly 40 years old, but I guess it's one guilty pleasure that doesn't consume much time.
