The episodes with Thomas777 have been highly illuminating and valuable and I expect the discussion of Race War in High School to be equally so.

Before the coof I was only an occasional listener. You’re one of the few who took the opportunity to reevaluate when reality came knocking. Keep doing what you’re doing. Leave those other people to their empty platitudes and principled self-congratulatory masturbation.

I'm not well read on WWII but the one thing that always struck me as "hmm maybe we're not the good guys" is Korea. The United States and USSR could have actually liberated Korea from its Japanese control, and just let them return to their original form. Nope. We split the place in two, in agreement with a communist superpower, for our own selfish reasons it seems.

They remain split and the north suffers horribly to this day.

What you have been doing is great. My biggest problem with it is I have to make sure I have semi-uninterrupted blocks to listen and re-listen. Luckily I drive and fly quite a bit. Keep up the solid work.

Thank you for bringing to our attention books and ideas that explain so much about what’s going on in this culture. I look forward to other interesting books that discuss ideas we are not supposed to have, according to the thought police.

You're the best in the world at something. How cool is that? You find the best people and ask them the best questions about the best subjects.

Thanks for risking it all for us Pete

Thanks for your pod Pete. I have gained so much perspective on WWII because you hosted Thomas777. I'd love to get an expansive reading list from him and you on good sources, including biographies of the principal figures that are not "Cathedral" approved. I'll share one I read with my teens (we homeschooled them). With The German Guns: Four Years on the Western Front by Herbert Sulzbach is his experience as an artillery soldier in the Great War. I had been well hypnotized by the state approved history and I thank you for breaking that trance!

You kicks ass. I don't understand the mindset that feels content with what they currently believe to be true, to the point of filtering out counter narratives. I'm with you on pretty much everything but even if I wasn't I can't see myself not wanting to look in to the forbidden or hear counter narratives. You also introduced me to Thomas and aa and for that I will always be grateful. 💪

I was very much a part of the liberty movement for a long time, but never very far off in lolbertland. As such, I was never accepted and never really part of any in-group, because I more-or-less openly declared as a paleo con like a lot of old-right liberty people have for decades. Libertarianism sans a fundamental national identity is a ridiculous notion which at best, would be a temporary affair, to be kind. Who exactly do they think the Ron Paul revolution actually pulled from? Well... they should’ve stopped at Ron Paul, instead of following down an ideological tunnel to complete obscurity. Half the membership claimed, are a bunch of self-described gay/socialist/tranny/pedo/satanist/atheist/humanist/commie/neckbeard/zippertits. Count me out. Anyway, your larger point reminded me of a conversation I had the other night about what the FBI whistleblower said to Dan Bongino; something along the lines of “I’m a big believer in the first amendment. Everyone should have a fundamental right to hold and spread bad ideas.” Of course, I blurted out - why?! And off it went. Why is tolerating the dissemination of ideas not just antithetical to your stated and observable way of life, but outright and purposefully caustic? Under what circumstances would that be beneficial to a society which undertook to preserve itself for any length of time?

I often site an essay by Bertrand Russel, an Outline of Intellectual Rubbish(if memory serves me). I do not share many economic beliefs with Russel, however I can glean insights from some of his thinking. The essay calls upon people to look at ideas that are different.

Thanks for doing what you do, it is appreciated and valued by many. Keep up the good work. The direction you have explored through your show and research makes logical sense to me and has influenced my 30 year old daughter and her husband. They had their first child in April 2020 in the middle of Covid and have grown to see the world in a different way since experiencing all of that. My daughter especially has 'noticed" a lot of things that don't fit with her world view, and that has caused her to reexamine her values and perspective. Your work has literally brought my family closer together and that means the world to me. Thank you.
