It’s the weekend; call a friend you haven’t spoken to in a long time. Check and see if there are any festivals in your area. Introduce yourself to a neighbor you’ve only nodded at in the past.
A weekend lasts 48 hours, and those hours fly right by. Getting to 6 p.m. on Sunday and realizing you have to go to work the next morning while feeling like you accomplished nothing is demoralizing. Do something special this weekend. It doesn’t have to be something you remember on your deathbed, but how about something you remember fondly a month from now?
It’s easy to feel defeated because the world presented on our computer, TV, or phone screens is seemingly going to hell. Make your piece of it a bit of heaven this weekend. This is an example of how we win, how we will win!
I’ve got a newborn and a toddler... if I can get away long enough to clean up the recent storm debris from the lawn I will have joy enough to last me months! 😀
If I can also get in a fence repair I will be on cloud 9!
I got a garage sale wood chipper for my birthday—look out limbs!
It's county fair season in the mid-west! We're headed over to watch a small town parade and get an ice cream cone at the neighbor's new shop.
I want to throw another white pill at you! We had a storm come through last weekend and make a mess of some trees around town, it's been a full week of everyone helping everyone else cut up, clean up, and haul away. Small town life for the win!!!
