I hear from a lot of people that they have invested in home security systems, with some even having weapons strategically positioned throughout their houses in case of a break-in or home invasion.
I go to my parents almost every weekend and they still watch TV, though they are finally cutting back on it after years of me bullying them for it. One thing I noticed heavily is how often Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy either have a Tranny or Homo as one of the contestants and they are always exoteric in their presentation as such. It's so obvious even my mother who is completely incapable of understanding complex politics has noticed it and complains about it.
Television has always been rife with progressive propaganda. All the nerds who complain about how woke Star Trek has gotten for instance are oblivious to the fact it was always a vanguard pusher of progressivism. The franchise was always that way it was but it was made by more competent people who were capable of putting some sugar in the Koolaid before serving it to you.
I grew up on ST:TNG. Watching it now, the liberal utopian messaging is very obvious.
Klingons, for example.
The Klingons were the only society concerned with *honor*, but were portrayed as backwards brutes (the Hun?) that could only reach enlightenment by joining the liberal egalitarian Federation (Worf).
But ST:V The Final Frontier and ST:VI The Undiscovered Country set this up. Kirk's son dies at the hands of a Klingon in ST:III, the apex of his series-long racial discomfort with the Klingons. At the beginning of ST:VI he laments, "I will never forgive them for the death of my boy...". But Kirk buries his enmity with the Klingons, following Sybok's spiritual disillusionment in ST:V and Spock's shrewdness in ST:V and VI (where he adopts the role of diplomat). It is appropriate that these two Vulcans are half-brothers -- the demise of the spirit, and the ascension of "logic".
Kirk affirms *individual* spirituality ("[God is] in here" <points to heart>) at the end of ST:V; and Spock -- tamed by his egalitarian "humanity" ("They're dying, Jim"), convinces Kirk to finally put aside his racist grudge. There is no racial consciousness, or spirit; there is only the individual.
By the end of The Undiscovered Country, Kirk has come around. The Federation is for Everyone; borders should come down (The Neutral Zone); the Klingons can be integrated.
In TNG, DS9, etc. Klingons are still present, but their way of life is treated as mere window décor adorning a race that is still just like us, but slightly ignorant. Picard makes many concessions to Worf's cultural practices. In ST:TOS, Kirk had many daliances with women of other species (a masculine dominance archetype in history); in TNG and DS9, this role belongs to Worf. Riker is supposed to give the white male audience a masculine figure, but he is ultimately a simp for Deanna, and can't get over his oneitis. Worf is the masculine ideal; and he is not us.
Quitting now before my nerd card gets revoked. (Great observation @Leper's Charge.)
I'm not throwing the baby out with the bathwater. Freevee is a Pfizer products playground. I refuse to subject myself to it. "Did you get your double flu shot in the same arm as your Covid booster that was tested on a grand total of 10 mice before released on the public???" Fuck Freevee.
Amen. My kids used to stream Little House on the Prairie on Freevee / Amazon and I could not allow those ads to be seen by them, and you cannot change it by opting into some kid friendly setting (of course the real target is normalizing all of this to children). I bought the DVD set and ripped them all, and host them on a Plex server among other things.
We normally use plex or stream w/o ads, but were in a hotel for the weekend and I had my fill of commercials.
It's like you say, blatantly pushing certain demographics as the 'good' that should be achieved or as demoralization, but what really struck me is how fucking stupid most of the ads were.
The con men writing the ads either think the people consuming them are completely stupid or the people still watching commercials really are that stupid.
I cut down to the local channels and one sports add on, but I agree commercials now are solely for indoctrination and do my best to silence the commercials. It’s too much agenda pushing, to the point where I prefer satellite radio just because the commercials aren’t nearly as egregious. Complete cord cutting is a blessing and I’m glad young people do it- gives me hope they won’t be entirely regime puppets.
Probably a good call on your part. I’m not as into MMA as I am bare knuckle boxing, so I watch that on Bein on my sports add on or on Plex. But fighting and motorsports are the only places where the agendas are missing, at least mostly.
I do, but I like BKB better. There’s something about heavily tattooed Brits (that appear freshly paroled), fighting in what looks like someone’s basement. Seems legit. And the ring is smaller than regular boxing so they tend to duke it out a bit more.
I cut the cords years ago, but watched them come back via apps, smart TV, etc. Promised myself we wouldn't let TV be a babysitter, and it mostly isn't, but an overwhelmed parent will often defer to it. We do the best we can to screen what they watch and try to make it ad free, but it is ridiculously hard because these clowns keep sneaking stuff in. 5 channels max on a clear day and cartoons on Saturday morning was a better world.

Paying for anti-European/White, traditional & Western Culture propaganda in the form
of cable TV, etc. is the height of lunacy.
Side note: Every straight White male portrayed in advertisements is some combination of fat, dorky and dumb.
Almost every straight White male in movies is either what I described above OR irredeemably evil.
The tribe despises us, has for years and has intentionally militated non-Whites against us for decades.
Seeing their “pets” turn on them over the current brouhaha in the M.E. is deliciously ironic.

Severed the cable TV cord in 2012.

Most normie “conservative” and “republican” Americans are indeed quite stupid, frankly. It pains me
to acknowledge it, but it’s true nonetheless.

I pay for ESPN+ separately due to my UFC addiction.

100% correct. Do you watch BKFC?
I do, but I like BKB better. There’s something about heavily tattooed Brits (that appear freshly paroled), fighting in what looks like someone’s basement. Seems legit. And the ring is smaller than regular boxing so they tend to duke it out a bit more.
Sounds like a scene from the movie ‘Snatch’ (fantastic film BTW)

Very well said.
Also, this is a long read, but I think it echoes your sentiment about the media influence on culture that is just garbage. https://open.substack.com/pub/hollymathnerd/p/anti-racism-damages-everyone-995?r=berfq&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web
