The public schools are orders of magnitude worse than the catholic church ever was. Every time we get a small sliver of a peak into what's going on, it's horrifying.
Spotlight investigations in every fucking state. Peter Thiel's money would be better spent on funding these then funding politicians.
Right!? If they thought the school was vetting to protect their kids or that the schools were competent in educating any kids, they just as likely assume the school will prosecute offenders somehow. As long as they don't miss any work over it...
I always want to write some elaborate fedpost whenever I read this stuff but I will spare everyone the unhinged rant. But I will say If only we were all as brave and willing to act as the good people of Georgia were in 1915 about this particular issue things would be better.

Kinda makes you see some of those alliterated southern social clubs from yesteryear in a different light, don’t it?
