I recently encountered some folks on our side who are mad at me for what they call “retreating.” There’s a group of people on our side of the Great Divide (as Zman calls it) who believe that our people shouldn’t abandon cities.
Now is the time. It will never get any easier or cheaper than it is right now! Figure it out. Get out of the cities. Build local community. Develop skills. Learn to take care of some of your basic needs, reduce your dependence on the system(s), and become an asset to those around you.
When you are at a disadvantage, do not directly engage the enemy. Make them chase you, exhaust their resources, then crush them. they need us, we don't need (or want) them.
This situation is analogous to military tactics. I don’t have rug rats and I earn my living by being in close proximity to LA. I’m from LA so it’s natural. That said, we still moved to the burbs. I can afford to make tactical withdrawals, but others, particularly those with families and transferable skills SHOULD get out to the “country” with like minded people. Form your enclaves and PROTECT them, unlike simp ass “conservatives” and “republicans”. That’s my 2 Pesos.
I live in the north Atlanta suburbs and at the moment there’s no way financially for us to do a full bug out. So I’m going the bug in route- stocking up and soon will get to work on a food producing garden. But I think it’s cool what you’ve done and what you advocate. Someday I’ll do something similar. For sure, the cities are dangerous and it’s best to be avoided as much as possible.
Our enemies don't really 'live' in the cities either. They have their own gated communities and enclaves away from the street take overs, car jackings, and junkies shitting in the street.
I see this whole cities debate like the normie-con fault of legitimizing-by-engagement of the most insane leftist premises. Cities are centers of power? Tell me again how many days of food you have in a total shutdown. How about your neighbors, will they come together and cooperate or smash your skull and take what you have?

Very well said

Okay, Let’s just move one more exit down the highway. We are good at cutting and running.
Tell me the city you think we can take that has legitimate political power.
And how?
