I feel lazy creating a Substack that is going to consist almost entirely of what someone else wrote but what I’m going to share is powerful and goes to the title above. I do understand that in my podcast much of what I present to the audience is people who have information they may not have a chance to hear elsewhere so I’ll just consider this as such.

Many reading this own firearms. Some of you may own many. One thing I know is that most gun owners hide how many they have more jealously than they do their net worth. BUT, if those in charge of this ‘anarcho-tyranny’ just make it illegal for you to use those guns, even in a defensive manner, then they may as well be scrap metal. Especially if in the process they are making it legal for their apparatchiks to use all manner of violence that a firearm is best suited to defend against.

This is a series of Tweets by Nate Fischer that summarize this subject better than I can. PLEASE read and digest these!

It is naive to evaluate gun control proposals based on their stated goal of reducing gun violence. If this were the priority, stop-and-frisk would be the top proposal. The lens of friend/enemy politics gives a clearer picture. 🧵 1/9

Gun control primarily imposes restrictions on law-abiding middle- and working-class gun owners and would-be gun owners. This is a heavily Republican group. 2/9

Criminals continue to have easy access to guns, and this is not likely to change in a country with a vast trove of existing guns. (Stop-and-frisk would make this riskier/less convenient). This group is a tool—and sometimes more direct client—of the left. 3/9

Thus Democrats oppose policies that would most reduce access to guns for their political allies, and advocate policies that would restrict such access for their political enemies. 4/9

The most likely political use of guns by citizens will be to protect against anarcho-tyranny. We saw a mild version of this in the tacitly regime-sanctioned mobs in summer of 2020; a more extreme version could look like China’s Cultural Revolution or the French Revolution. 5/9

In such scenarios, guns—especially AR-15s and the like—provide citizens on our side significant protection against hostile mobs. They need not defend against tanks or SWAT teams; they simply need to motivate a mob to move on or disperse. 6/9

Many on the left know these mobs help advance their agenda, and recognize citizen gun ownership threatens this. They are pushing for gun control measures that will both disarm such citizens, and add tools to prosecute those who do use guns against these mobs. 7/9

In contrast, many in these mobs are armed with the sort of weapons not threatened by gun control laws: rocks, Molotov cocktails, black market guns (often the sort stop-and-frisk would have removed). Gun control measures thus shift the balance in their favor. 8/9

In sum: any time you see an apparent inconsistency (or the “hypocrisy” normie conservatives like to trumpet) in Democratic gun rhetoric, reevaluate through this friend/enemy lens. Behavior should make more sense. 9/9

My takeaway from this brilliant Twitter thread is something I catch shit for mentioning from the anarchists/libertarians living in Ancapistan in their heads; politics is about rewarding your friends and punishing your enemies. The Left has been in power for some time now (yes, even when Trump had the Court and Congress) and they are maneuvering to make sure their power never reduces and only increases no matter who controls the White House, etc. The good guys don’t like that and think it’s immoral (wahhhhhhhhhh). That’s how politics is played and it’s not going anywhere.

With the rise of digital currencies that can be turned off on you at any moment, anarcho-tyranny continues to grow. This is the part where people ask for answers. Here’s an idea, how about those relying on answers from content creators try to come up with solutions and tell ME. There are alternatives to digitally controlled currencies that most people can mention quickly. What is the solution to anarcho-tyranny?

Jeff Snyder wrote a great essay about this 20 plus years ago. I've provided a link below for his essay and I will provide a short summary for those who don't want to take the time or expend the effort to read it.

SUMMARY - Every time the government committed another tyrannical act the people said "at least we have guns so we can resist the government if they ever become tyrannical" until finally they were compliant, emasculated slaves who owned guns.-

All of these things should always be looked from the friend/Enemy distinction since politics is War by other means. The Left is Not Anti Guns since their Entire ideology revolves around forcing people to adopt their beliefs by any means and if it requires Violence so be it. The answers to this is not universal Gun ownership like every LoLbertarian wants but have it so where the left is banned from owning firearms & organization that speak against firearm ownership. While rewarding Organization & individuals that are friendly to us & Advances the Rights stance on firearm ownership as a absolute right that should never be challenged ever again. This is how you win. Permanently.
