Last Sunday, I sent out the message that my podcasting computer was fried during a storm here. I want to thank everyone who contributed. I am grateful beyond words. I received the replacement computer on Tuesday and immediately went back to work. As I woke up last Friday morning to prep for the 4.5-hour drive north to Nashville to spend time with friends (you can see the pictures of Thomas777 and me on my Twitter and FedBook), I noticed a flashing warning light on my new Mac Mini. It wouldn’t boot up. I bought it from Best Buy online, so I took it to the closest one to me on the way back into town yesterday, and the Geek informed me it needed to be replaced. Obviously, it was still under warranty, but here I wait for the next one to be delivered tomorrow.
So my previous seven days have been filled with frustration and joy. But so is life, right? The ups and the downs sometimes exist side-by-side, and that fact should be embraced, not lamented.
It’s good to be back at it. I pray you all are happy, prospering, and not letting anything get you down. I kept telling myself last week that anything I was complaining about or worried about, I most likely wouldn’t remember a month from now. That should be something we think about constantly.
It was great meeting you in person and I look forward to supporting your work.
Like water off a duck's back! Let the bad shit go and focus on what makes you happy.
