I’ve learned how to take in the stimulus the-powers-that-be blast at us like a firehose. Most people can only take a sip at a time and that’s the key; to be able to filter out the poisoned water from the good. It’s not easy. Some feel as if it’s all poison but that’s usually the opinion of a person who swallowed the whole bottle of red-pills and not just one. I encounter those people often. When you have a bit of a platform, they try to get to you so you can share in their delusions. Rarely has someone contacted me about something that I immediately dismissed as kookery that turned out to possess a kernel of truth. The kernel is the core. The kooks rarely sprout.
I’ve taken to attempting simplicity whenever possible; if someone with wealth, power and influence says they’re going to do something, I believe that they are going to TRY. I don’t discount the fact that they could be saying one thing to get us enraged while doing another. That’s just good strategy in a war. And politics is war by other means.
This also points to something that those of us who came into politics through Libertarianism tend to miss; society is run by social engineers whose names you don’t know and whose work you haven’t been trained to notice. That’s a huge blind spot. Curtis Yarvin’s “Unqualified Reservations” blog which he started in 2007, is a great resource as he was an extremely well-read libertarian who saw how society was engineered and realized Libertarianism had no answer for it. Although, reading Curtis now you will see that most of his solutions are in the libertarian camp. It’s just that libertarianism has no answer as to how to get to those solutions. Think about the Underpants Gnomes from South Park.
It wouldn’t matter if you figured out that politicians really are lizard people in skin suits because even if they were exposed during the Super Bowl Halftime Show the overwhelming majority would deny it. That’s engineering. That’s teaching people not only what to think but how to think. A lot of people say they wished schools would teach people how to think. Maybe you should THINK about that.
At the end of the day, WE are a people whose eyes are opened but we are still grasping in the dark for answers. I tend to believe that my answer and your answer can both be true for us. Not that there are “alternative facts”, but that what I need and what you need aren’t the same. And they shouldn’t be. It would be weird if they were.
I’m sorry Rodney but we can’t all get along. How many of you realized that was written for him by a social engineer?
in the spirit of another Rodney, ALL get along? I just wanna get some respect
We've lived in a world of 50 different flavors of the Fabienne Society for over 100 years. Our true advantage is, the globohomo machine has 90% of its focus on self-maintenance. We can make up a lot of ground if we stay smart and keep our eye on the Attilas they will send after us.
We know their playbook, they can't figure out ours. We're the outliers in all their sociological tests they can't put in a category of predictive qualities. Keep it that way, and if you get tired, step back for a while. The boys will fill the gap til you're ready again. They think of families as bloodlines, not love. Nothing but love here.
