Never Side With The Enemy
I’m ashamed to say that I didn’t see the Left as my greatest enemy until COVID started. Sure, I knew certain factions were dangerous but not for the reasons I do now. 2020 made it very clear to me that there are people on the Left that want me dead. I’m disappointed that it took me so long to figure that out but at least I finally did.
A phrase that is often parroted as a signifier of our great “democracy” is “I disapprove of what you say, but will defend to the death your right to say it.” NO! If the words coming out of that hole in your face are a direct attack on me or my loved ones, I’m not defending your right to say it. I will do whatever it takes to stop you.

People in our society have long been sold on the concept of defending to the point of death an enemy who wants to suppress their rights. Consider the insanity of this. A friend on Twitter put it this way: “I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to silence me." When I see people advocating that their enemies are afforded the same rights that they and their friends deserve, I know this isn’t a serious person and certainly not one I want to ally with.
Once you awaken from this ideological fever dream, your first step is to recognize that you are in a war with an enemy that will say and do anything. Clearly defining this enemy and understanding their tactics is the next step. Lastly you must find your friends and allies. Then, the planning stage can begin. Solutions cannot be sought and acted upon until these steps are taken in this order. We can no longer respect or defend the enemy’s right to say whatever they want because our enemy is not just talking about silencing you and taking your rights, they are actively working toward that goal. They do not respect your rights, why should you continue to “defend to the death” their opinions?
Pete, we need to organize outside of their social media. We need to develop community, build our own lodges, do favors for each other. I know someone has to be working on this.
I think one of the hardest battles we will face is breaking out of the classic liberal mindset. We’ve all been so thoroughly indoctrinated by “live and let live” and all that.
