The more outrageous the Left gets, the more I realize they’re gasping for air. They’re a drowning man fighting for every breath.
The latest dose of clown world comes from John Blake at CNN and is nearing overdose levels. I wonder whether these are written as such just to get clicks. Does this complete moron actually believe this? Or, is this his final attempt at being relevant. I assume he just wants attention at this point. Here’s the headline to this article:
That’s some “analysis”. He even tries to say that Rogan’s belief that he can use the n-word” is akin to an attitude that led to the Rwandan genocide:
Something else happens that's even more deadly. When people in positions of power use dehumanizing language to describe other groups, atrocities often follow.
This is not ancient history: Consider what happened less than 30 years ago in Rwanda when some 800,000 civilians were slaughtered in a three-month period in 1994. Hutu extremists targeted both the Tutsi minority, who were a majority of those killed, as well as moderate Hutus.
What triggered the violence in part were the messages that came from people in positions of power in Rwanda. Many, like Rogan, had a public megaphone and an audience.
Now THAT is a take! Honestly, this is just pathetic, but I believe it points to the desperation the Left feels. The amount of people in the country who are vehemently opposed to “ideas” like this are growing every day. I consider them my ally as what the Left has promoted and shoved down the public’s throats for some time now, but especially in the last 10-12 years, is the kind of rhetoric associated with the ending of empires. I know that thought excites a lot of people but collapse is never pretty. People get hurt and worse. A transitioning would be preferable.
For the first time in a while, I believe it is achievable. But the way certain people on the Left are going to act in that transition will demand they be suppressed. They’d do it to you given the chance.
Ah, the ol' "accuse your enemy of the thing you're actually doing" tactic/unconscious(?) psychological projection trick! We should all know it well, by now. Joe Rogan is a "person in power" using a naughty word (never mind that every instance was years ago, and taken out of context by the activists, for maximum effect), while for the past two years every State and corporate media outlet has regularly singled out a segment of the population at which to spew hateful, divisive and dehumanizing rhetoric (when they're not hiding from them). In the words of Bill Maher (referring to Trudeau): "Now you're starting to sound like Hitler." At least the fact that Maher is recognizing and openly saying things like that is somewhat hopeful.
One thing rightwingers have going for them is a 2-parter: after losing for so long, getting a few wins tastes good and, hopefully, makes them want to keep the streak going. The second part is the left has been winning for so long, they literally forgot how to lose without making it worse for themselves.
