Contempt For The Press Is A Positive
There are very few people in the press that deserve anyone’s respect. With the Canadian Trucker phenomenon, we learned the press in the Great White North is as vile as they are here in the States. Seeing one of Canada’s most contemptible seething on social media brings me a probably unhealthy level of joy. Seriously, it just makes me grin ear to ear. He just seems like a particularly smarmy POS.
I was doing a live hit with @MSNBC this afternoon when our crew was mobbed. One guy actually spit at us, others called us Nazis. MSNBC had to cut it off almost after it began. Then they chased us down the street to our bureau.
I have a hard time believing he was chased but if it’s true, hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.
These people are the enemy.
Interesting that they even call it "a hit". I'm sure that's some term that goes back to a time (was there such a time?) when there were actual journalists covering events rather than crafting propaganda for their masters.
I too felt tremendous joy on seeing this clip.
