Choice Is About The Medical Field As Well
Look, I get it. Most people look at those who identify with the libertarian/anarchist/agorist/voluntary ideology as crazy already. But hear me out. Ignoring one of the major problems society faces, or marching in lockstep with the masses because you think it will make you look even further “cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs,” is dropping the ball.
Medical Freedom is one of the biggest issues out there when you just take into consideration the 250K plus people a year who die due to medical malpractice. Just start there. If restaurants were killing that many people a year due to how they ran their businesses what would be the public response?
What the term Medical Freedom has come to be synonymous with is vaccines, and not “vaccine choice” which is what the overwhelming majority of activists are advocating for. People who want to restrict your right to choose lump you in with the fraction who make the most bizarre claims, or seek to take away the choice of those who wish to be vaccinated.
With the media coverage of CV19 being dominated by the talk of a vaccine, it appears that due to the political nature of this “pandemic,” half the country would refuse to take it. Maybe not half but for the sake of the conversation here let’s call it that. How amazing is it that if you are someone who believes vaccines should be voluntary that the whole country is talking about that now? It would appear to be fertile ground to take your message forward. You’re not going to get a positive response from everyone, but I bet more are willing to listen because of the insanity being sold now.
If we can’t put forth a voluntary message when it comes to a profession where it is easy to show how risky certain aspects of it are, something that is obvious, what issue can we communicate effectively? And if you do a search, you’ll find that there are major groups out there you can align with. Sure they’re normies, but they’re putting in the work. Don’t let the “crazy” label stop you. They assume you are anyway.
I agree. I have had some discussions with Voluntaryists that want legal action taken against vaccine manufacturers that their products become “illegal.” I have to impress upon these people that whatever power one gives the state in this endeavor can and will be used against them in any present courts of law.
You undershot the count a bit. I saw some stats that indicated 400,000 people in the US died last year due to medical errors and another 240,000 people died from prescription errors.
The medical industry killed 640,000 Americans last year. So with a month and a half to go with 2020, that's almost 3 times more than covid.
Correction...almost 3 times more than they still claim were killed by covid, even tho they have already admitted that only 6% died OF covid, and NOBODY has yet isolated and purified the entire genome of the coronavirus that they claim causes covid-19.
But 99% of the fuckers out there don't even have the wit to bother question any of the bullshit. Even when the overlords do tell the truth, morons WANT to believe the fiction because DRAMA!!!
